Effective strategic communication for sustainable change

TÜV SÜD is developing a new operating model for the Global Center of Excellence Total Rewards (CoE TR), and we are supporting the transformation and strategy development process.     

The aim is to seamlessly integrate the Total Rewards strategy into the overarching HR strategy, making Total Rewards more effective and visible within HR—so the team can work together to achieve the company’s ambitious goals. This requires the close involvement and empowerment of the global Total Rewards topic owners from the four key areas: Compensation, Benefits, Global Health & Wellbeing, and Global Employee Mobility—as well as the Total Rewards leads from the regions. 

We used evocative narratives and messages, visual storytelling, and clear graphics to support internal communication of the new Total Rewards strategy to diverse stakeholders and target groups within TÜV SÜD. The empowerment process included a communication training program for global topic owners delivered during a multi-day offsite workshop. Deliverables included a presentation deck featuring templates and intuitive design elements, a glossary explaining key terminology to ensure consistent language use, and practicalguidance on applying these tools in project management of Total Rewards projects and initiatives. Of course, this was all based on the TÜV SÜD corporate identity, with a dash of extra creativity to catch the eye and stay in the mind. 

At the end of the year, we developed the new TR-Wrapped video format. Going forward, this format will be used to present key findings and objectives of the CoE Total Rewards in an entertaining and informative way to various internal audiences—including the People Leadership Team. 

And this is just the beginning.
