Against the backdrop of OSRAM Licht AG’s spin-off from Siemens, many of the company’s existing guidelines and processes were revised or completely redone. Among those were the “Global Mobility” guidelines for OSRAM international assignments.
Unequity was contracted with developing a communications strategy for all HR employees regarding the introduction of the new assignment guidelines, including a way of expressing the philosophy behind the guidelines.
The employees in question were invited to presentations and video calls in which the guidelines were explained and the new processes were introduced. To understand the emotional elements of the process, a film was made about a ray of light that travels past a number of OSRAM locations. A presentation was developed along with a guide for dealing with the situation. The images and tone for all media were coordinated with each other.
